Motorcycles and Coffee

These photographs of motorcycles were taken during two visits to the Cars and Coffee show in Irvine, California, with a Nikon N90s loaded with Kentmere 100 film. Cars and Coffee is very motorcycle-friendly with a section of a very large parking lot specifically reserved for motorcycles. The motorcycle section shoulders up against the tables where coffee, doughnuts, and pastries are sold. If you ride to the show there is no need to park in the multi-story parking structure, then make the short hike to the show area. Very convenient.

I didn’t bother making photographs of the newer Harleys, Stars, Hondas and crotch rockets. These photos are of somewhat unusual or at least vaguely rare two-wheelers. To my eye, the black 1970s Moto Guzzi 850 was the standout bike of the two shows (it was there both times).
