Lompoc is a town on the Central Coast of California. The streets, or rather the buildings of the town, are used as a large-scale art display. The exterior walls of the buildings are like empty gallery space, places to display paintings, many of which are for sale. The town is a gallery. When Lisa and I stopped in town for lunch, we took the time to wander the downtown area after eating. The photos shown here were “grab shots”, taken with the Panasonic Lumix FX01.
The flower boxes are painted onto the wall, a recurring theme in downtown Lompoc.
I found this one…interesting…since nothing says Lompoc Art like blue and orange cows standing in a field with a mountain range in the background.
